Bethany Goldszer is a seasoned public affairs and communications professional with over ten years of experience. As part of the InsideTrack team, Bethany manages a broad range of communications and public affairs issues for public and private sector clients in many fields.

From years overseeing internal operations and fundraising and development at Urban Upbound, one of the city’s most innovative nonprofits, Bethany has gained considerable experience in coordinating alliances to meet communications and public affairs objectives.

Ms. Goldszer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Chicago, Masters of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and Masters in Nonprofit Management from The New School.

His extensive background includes Senior Pastor of the Center of Hope International (COHI), a non-denominational church adjacent to the Queensbridge Houses; and Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Urban Upbound (formerly East River Development Alliance), a NYC community-based nonprofit that connects 30,000 public housing residents with jobs, financial counseling, entrepreneurship opportunity, safe and affordable banking, and free tax preparation.

To build both organizations as prominent advocates for the needs of residents in public housing, Bishop Taylor has been active in the political and real estate development community. Bishop Taylor has created alliances with government officials, business owners, religious leaders, educators, and residents to all work together to affect neighborhood improvement and expand economic opportunity.

Bishop Taylor has been profiled by The New York Times, CNN, National Public Radio, and other leading media outlets for his leadership around public housing, and has received prestigious awards including the New York City Public Library’s Brooke Astor Award, NYC Neighborhood Achievement Leadership Award, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York Martin Luther King Award.

Bishop Taylor is the author of Unbroken Promises, published by Whitaker House (2003). He organized the effort to bring the first new Credit Union in Queens in 30 years, and the first chartered nationally in the Obama Administration. Bishop Taylor also served as a former Commissioner on the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board.
